AidTrans Studio Editions

- Basic for new tm users, supports the most popular word processors files formats, can also process Translation Kits created with Enterprise edition,
- Professional for translation professionals, full range of import files, can also process Translation Kits created with Enterprise edition with ,
- Enterprise for translation services providers.

AidTrans Studio Basic

AidTrans Studio Basic is free of charge, destined for translators who are not experienced in translation memory tools or translators who rarely use translation memory tools. It contains the most useful features set for new translation memory users.
Translation agencies can provide their suppliers with AidTrans Studio Basic as free of charge tool to process translation files prepared with Enterprise edition.

AidTrans Studio Basic limitations:

you can use only one Translation Memory database can be used in project, ( with Professional edition you can use two TMs, one updatable and one read-only),
you cannot use Network TM,
for import/analyze/pretranslation of a new file you cannot use TM that contains more than 2000 units,
you can select only one file for import/analyze/pretranslate.

AidTrans Studio Professional

AidTrans Studio Professional is designed for freelance translators who use translation memory software as everyday translation tool. Translation memory data as well as terminology data are stored in local database with full import/export functionality. Translators who use Professional edition are able to perform search in network tm/tdb databases created by Enterprise edition.
Contains full utilities set, except Tm/Tdb server utilities.

When translating Translation Kit with Professional edition you can use both: Tm provided with Translation Kit and your own Tm.

AidTrans Studio Enterprise

This version is designed for translation services providers. It supports network translation memory, advanced batch file processing. This edition can also store translation memory data on a database server so it is accessible within whole local network. Enterprise edition can produce files to process with AidTrans Studio Basic edition.
